Cookie Policy
Last updated 18 August 2026. This policy explains how Upnex uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels. We use them to run the site, keep you signed in, and (with consent) understand how Upnex is used.
2. How we use cookies
Essential
- Authentication and session continuity
- Security and CSRF protection
- Remembering cookie consent choice
- Load balancing and basic service operation
These are required for Upnex to function. You can block them in your browser, but parts of the product may not work.
Preferences
- Theme (light/dark) and similar UI preferences
Analytics (optional)
- Aggregated usage and performance metrics to improve product quality
Optional analytics cookies are used only if you choose Accept all on our consent banner (or equivalent). Choosing Essential only limits us to essential/preference storage needed to run the Service.
3. Third parties
When you sign in with Google or connect Meta, Google Business Profile, payments, or other integrations, those providers may set their own cookies under their policies. Upnex does not control third-party cookies on their domains.
4. Your choices
- Use the cookie banner on first visit to accept all or essential-only cookies
- Clear site data for upnex.app in your browser to see the banner again and change your choice
- Use browser controls to block or delete cookies
5. Retention
Session cookies typically expire when you close the browser. Persistent cookies and local storage (including consent) may last from days to months, or until you clear them.
6. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices or tools change. The date at the top will be revised when we do.
