User Data Deletion

1. Overview

Upnex (“we”, “us”) is available at https://upnex.app. If you used Facebook Login or connected Meta products through Upnex, you can ask us to delete the associated data we hold. This page is the public instructions URL for Meta; Facebook can also call our automated deletion callback when you remove the app in Facebook Settings.

2. Automatic deletion via Facebook

When you remove Upnex under Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites and request data deletion, Meta notifies us. We revoke matching Facebook / Instagram / WhatsApp channel connections and give you a confirmation code plus a status link.

3. How to request deletion by email

Send an email to:

• privacy@upnex.app

Include:

• The subject line: Data deletion request
• The email address on your Upnex account
• Your Facebook / Instagram username or Page name (if relevant)
• Whether you want full account deletion or only Meta-connected data removed

We may reply to verify that you control the account before we delete data. Requests from the same email registered on Upnex are processed fastest.

4. What we delete

When a verified deletion request is completed, we delete or irreversibly anonymize:

• Your Upnex user account profile (name, email, authentication records)
• Workspace and business profiles you own, where no other members must retain them
• Connected Meta channel credentials and tokens (Facebook Page, Instagram, WhatsApp Cloud API connections)
• Product data tied to your account, such as leads from Meta comments, content drafts, campaign records, and AI memory derived from your brand inputs — except where retention is required below

After deletion, Meta integrations stop receiving webhooks for your Pages until you connect again on a new account.

5. What we may retain

• Records we must keep for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute reasons
• Aggregated / anonymized analytics that cannot identify you
• Backup copies for a limited period until they are rotated out securely

6. Timing

We aim to confirm receipt within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your identity, unless a longer period is required by law. You will receive an email confirmation when the request is complete (or an explanation if we cannot fully delete specific items).

7. Disconnect Meta without full account deletion

If you only want to stop Meta access:

• In Upnex, open Channels and disconnect Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp
• In Facebook, go to Settings → Apps and Websites and remove Upnex

Disconnecting removes tokens we use to act on your behalf. For full erasure of historical data, still email privacy@upnex.app.
